Pretty cool. Is this the first time a band from Wyoming has appeared at Bandfest, and subsequently, the Rose Parade?

Congratulations to Upland High School on their appearance in the Rose Parade. How fitting that their Highland Regiment followed bagpipers that appeared before and after the float paying tribute to victims of 9/11, playing Scotland the Brave. You should all be very proud of yourselves. I watched from the grandstands on Orange Grove and Upland looked and sounded fantastic. Congrats also to El Dorado's drumline and guard who appeared in the opening of the parade along with Up with People. They were very entertaining and tried hard to get the crowd involved in it. Happy New Year!
