Just watched Homestead H.S. (Cupertino) perform in New York at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Great job Homestead. Way to represent the Northern Half of California! Hope you had a great time.

Super happy for John Burn (Teacher) and his organization!! In this day and age of financial stress and other "new" obstacles (ACLU), what he and his parents were able to accomplish for his students/their children gives us hope that we can give our students moment like John's students are enjoying. THANKS JOHN FOR DOING A GREAT JOB!!

Heh, learned today that the Macy's star (on the ground which serves as the performance stage) was shifted 5' ft. from the original dimensions that the bands were given to practice. Most, if not all, of the bands had issues adjusting their performance.
