Warren Vs. Downey HS "Battle of Bands"

Post by dniemeyer » Sun Sep 30, 2012 11:21 am

Warren and Downey are the only two schools in the Downey Unified School District. For the past 50+ years every fall the two schools have met in a heated rivalry football game. For the first time, the bands are "battling" it out as well. This event will be a "fun" and "friendly" competition between the two high schools.

If you are free Thursday Oct. 4th and can make your way to Downey, come watch this 1st annual event for FREE! There is zero cost to get in. There will be food trucks at the event selling food and drink. The event is from 6-8pm at Downey HS 11040 Brookshire Ave. Downey CA 90241.
