“Halftime Magazine is proud to partner with World Drum Major Association, Inc. We know that drum majors are the heart of their marching ensembles and may become professional instructors in the future. We have always supported this group of student leaders through our “Behind the Baton” column, in which drum majors share their personal stories, and we are now pleased to team up with one of the country’s leading drum major organizations to further our mission to educate, entertain and inspire everyone involved in the marching arts,” says Christine Ngeo Katzman, CEO and publisher of Halftime Magazine.
Through this partnership, band directors and students participating in any U.S. based programs with WDMA, such as the Scholastic Drum Major Circuit, DRUMMAJORCAMP.COM, and the Distinguished Leaders Program, will receive a complimentary 1-year subscription to Halftime Magazine. Drum majors participating in any of WDMA’s programs also have the opportunity to write for the dedicated “Behind the Baton” column in Halftime Magazine.
