(vore will probably remember who this is from 1974/1975 ... I can't at the moment)
All pics are from the 1975 Seaxe.
Off the top of my head, my guess is either Tim Heron or Bob Grindrod. I have an old program for that year in my files and will try to find it.

I remember seeing one band at an All Western Band Review performance that wore those uniforms and the big black bear skin shakos, I think the school was Sierra Vista, if I remember correctly.
Of course, I loved the Glendora HS uniforms back then, along with their bagpipers. Does anyone know if they still wear the Scottish style uniforms. Are there other high school bands that wear these type of uniforms, other than the two I mentioned?
Sorry, it's a bit late
My high school, Fairfield High (Scarlet Brigade), has uniforms that match the Coldstream Guard of England. Plus we have the Bag Pipers.

Band looks great. If you can't afford bearskins use those black fur shakos, heh. Also....just fyi white feather bonnetts are for "ladies" pipe bands in Scotland, lol.

Another thing, the guards don't have kilted drum majors in highland dress. This DM should be in a bearskin and gold trimmed guard DM uniform, etc. LOL. At least it's colorful tho, heh.

Heh...dunno who it is/was but I had an old WOP newspaper pic showing from the side the "point", on the front, heh. Bearskins are brushed to have a "DA" point on the back. I thought it weird that the kid didn't figure out the back of the hat to the front, LOL.

There ya go. This one looks like a Coldstream NCO one as the NCO's in that regiment wear a 7inch cut feather plume on the right side. The lower ranks it's red horsehair. Only thing with this kid is needs to adjust the leather side tabs up to get the curb chain under the lip. Doesn't belong hanging like that, LOL.

Great pic. If they added an eagle plate in the middle of the bearskin he'd sorta look like the USMC DM from Souza,eh? The guards gave them a bearskin as a gift in past history, etc.
