Riverside King turns heads no matter where they perform :)

From here on out, they will just keep better and better leading up to Arcadia! You did very well King, as so did the rest of the bands.

I tried a different camera angle and I didn't like it much so going back to my normal position on the opposite side of the Judges stand for Mt. Carmel.

For Loara, I'm going to try a "different angle" that I hope you all will enjoy.

Luis...................as a NorCal person, I really appreciate you giving us the opportunity to see the wonderful SoCal bands. However, we are looking forward to your trip to Santa Cruz this Saturday so you can show the SoCal people some of our fine bands from up north.

I'll see you on Saturday.

Luis,

I hope the NorCal folk buy you a dinner or two.... they owe you.

Actually, a lot of the SoCal folk owe you a ton of dinners!

Be safe on your trip, and give Jeff Stratton a big hug for me. Ask Jeff to tell you a joke or two... he is hilarious!

Thanks guys...I'm glad we got the rain this part of the week. It will be nice and sunny for all of CA this weekend. Santa Cruz shoud be in the 70s while Riverside in the 90s...although nothing will ever top the 107 degrees for those who attended and for the students who performed at the Kaiser/Fontana Band Review!

Vore, I'll be pretty satisfied if you take a line or 2 in "THE BOOK" and mention how much you've enjoyed the videos :)

THAT can't be right!! Why would his contribution just be mentioned in the middle of the Table of Contents? :rotf:

Luis,

First of all it was great to see you again yesterday in Santa Cruz. Even though I had to scour the crowd until your were spotted.....up on the judge's stand. I guess it's true, it's not what you know, it's who you know. :)

2nd, incredible job with the videos. Not only are you videos entertaining, but they are truely valuable educational tools.

Well done my friend.

I met Luis in person for the time yesterday but it was as we had know each other for years. We have communicated with each other through our youtube site and the Pagentry website since 2007. He is a great guy and is doing a wonderful job keeping all of us in the loop as to what is happening in the So Cal (and on ocassion in NorCal) marching band scene through the posting of his videos on youtube.
What Luis, "Cardinal Regime", myself, and others are doing is documenting marching band history in California and it's legacy for those in the future who wonder: "Why were Riverside King, Arcadia, Rancho Bernardo, Golden Valley, Benecia and other marching bands considered great bands?" When they watch the videos, they will understand :)

Thanks Cardinal Regime. Great seeing you too. As far as how I landed on the Judges stand, I just walked up there and noone said anything to me...yeah right!
THANK YOU to "crickett" for setting me up there. It was great to meet you in person. I'm already planning my trip for the 40th Annual SC Band Review!

Thanks baritoneplayer, great to have finally met you in person. It was a great band review. I enjoyed every minute of it and best of all, the weather was excellent!

Hi Erin,

You're very welcome.
I recorded all the schools and will be posting all links to them here. High Definition does take just a little longer to do when editing and uploading videos, but all the bands' performances will be available to view.
I normally start from the highest scoring bands and work my way down.
