Videos - 2018 LA County Fair High School Marching Band Parade Competition

Hello everyone,

The 2018 LA County Fair High School Marching Band Parade Competition kicked off on August 31st this year. Bands from all over Southern California come to this competition to compete for the grand prize of $10,000 and claim the title of "Grand Champion". Bands are judged on many qualities including personality, musical precision, step synchronization, energy levels, audience appeal and uniform color. The three highest scoring bands in the Open Class division participate in a final round on Friday, September 21st before the judges decide who takes the winning title.

Class/Division Breakdown:
Bands choose the division they wish to be in based on total number of band members (excluding auxiliary, drill teams, etc.)

OPEN CLASS (any size, puts band in the running for the Grand Prize of $10,000)
3 Finalists are selected by scores given during preliminaries. Finalists must return for the Finals on Friday, September 21st.
