Guard gifts

I was just wondering, what does your guard do for gifts?

I know we all get a few people things because we're closer to them but my guard does secret santa. It's pretty cool actually.

This year I went all out and made the guard burned cd's of christmas music. It's not really all that spiffy but I put alot of effort into making each individual cover for the girls. 31 girls... it took me a LOOOONG time. I hope they like them.

Oh, do you get gifts for your instructor, too?

in the past i've written out christmas cards for the ENTIRE guard and my freshman year the captains got every girl a present. but this year I was lazy and didn't do anything. (plus we have 43-member guard

)

we usually do secret santa and exchange gifts the friday before winter break. it seems to work out pretty well, and ifs fun

we also do secret sister but only on the last competition day.

I swore to myself I was gonna make a card for everyone and get everyone gifts, but I just ended up passing out candy canes lol. I did get quite a few people presents though.

We do secret sister. At every comp we give a gift to the same person and at the last comp, we tell. We only do it in Winter Guard though.

i got everyone these cool chinese food boxes and filled them with random cool things! i love oreintal trading company... they have cute cheep things

my guard does a little thing called secret sister during our feild season. even tho we have 3 boys, they're still sistas! we fill out papers of our favorite things (ie. foods, colors, animals, tv shows, etc.) and pick names out of a hat. whoever u get, u take their paper, and whenever we have a show, we bring gifts! its really fun!

and, u dont tell who u hav, until winter guard

Yeah, we do a "Secret Sibling" thing also. And we also have 3 boys! (Me being one of them.) There's a theme everytime; For "Home Sweet Home" we had to bake them homemade goods, etc. We write down our names and what we like, our hobbies and all that good stuff on a little slip of paper, then draw names out of a hat. We don't reveal each other until our Christmas party, and we exchange gifts there also. (: Then we get new secret sibs for Winter Guard.

From leaders and stuff, we got pillows (to band camp), candy, blankets, food, photos of us&them, and other fun stuff, too. (: I usually got my secret sib lots of snacks and things.

Secret Siblings are always fun. (:

we had a party at a pizza thingy, and we did gift exchange, and just givin gifts to the ppl that u like better, evn tho we all love most of eachother.
