ok, so I'm not in high school anymore, so I'm not constantly up on guard shows and whatnot. So, I'm curious, what are the favorites so far? and what teams are you looking forward to seeing that you haven't seen yet?
I'm actually going to whats probably going to be the only show I go to this weekend to watch my former high school, so I'd like to be on top of what the teams are doing. Please let me know!!! Thank you!

high school wise i heard that benicia high was pretty good...i still haven't seen my alma mater (vallejo hs), but i hear it's good...but golden valley has been first the past two shows against vallejo, so i want to see what that's about. anyone, have any comments about any of those schools before i see shows at vallejo this weekend?

golden valley got first, then vallejo, then benicia.
and i'm glad u liked our show!!! we try. it's really different this year cuz last year we had 2 guards, and this year, most of our open guard graduated and it's basically our amateur guard up in open. it's cool cuz we're all trying so hard and working together, and we didn't get to start practice till after rose parade. so thank you so much for your comments!!

I saw Golden Valley and Vallejo at Antioch. And Vallejo again at Armijo. G.V's show is okay, Vallejo's show is good, but I don't think I quite get it yet. They had major equipment problems at Armijo, and if they were in the same mind frame as my guard that day, then they were just having a bad show. We all know how that is. I have yet to see Benicia, but am hoping to see you guys this weekend?? (Vallejo) Fairfield's guard was very good. Much better than they were at WGI regionals at Logan. I missed Cal High... have any of you seen their show?

Oh I didn't know Benicia was moved back up. Cool I guess...ya sorry about that. I really wanna see the open competition now! If Golden Valley, Santa Cruz(they still in NCBA?),Vallejo, Foothill and Benicia are all in one catergory...wow...but still as of right now I absolutely love FHS! double rifle rocks!

Yes, South San Francisco has an Intermediate guard this year. Our next show is Encinal. Goodluck to everyone!

Hey, any one know what's up with Pacific Grove this year? For some reason, my band director seems to think that the panel of judges is going to be DCI judges instead of our NCBA judges?? Any one know if this is true or not? I would think, if this is so, that they would only do field comp. Don't think a DCI judge would know our rules and regulations for street, do you?
