Mandarins Guard Auditions

Auditions for the 2005 Sacramento Mandarins Color Guard will take place on Sunday, December 11 at at VAPAC High School, corner of Fruitridge and Florin Perkins, Sacramento. Registration will start at 8 a.m., rehearsal will run from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Anyone interested in auditioning should contact the color guard caption head, Greg Mar at gregory@gmartdesign.com However, this is not a prerequisite for attending.

The Mandarins Guard staff has extensive experience, with the most recent affiliations as instructors and performers including Leigh High School, San Jose Raiders World, Clayton Valley High School, Raiders Open Guard, Blue Devils Open Winter Guard and Benecia Middle School.

This year’s Mandarins DCI tour will consist of 4 weeks, with the first major show being the DCI Southwest Regional in San Antonio. The DCI tour will include appearances in other shows and all other regionals leading to the DCI Championships in Madison, WI.
