Armijo got Bumped up that's good. There is going to be some fierce competition in the Scholastic Division this year. I can't wait till champs to see who takes the title for that division.

There's a version three of the schedule available on the EGHS page now. Ponderosa was moved up; good luck to all units this weekend!

I heard rumors from a little bird in the 707 area code that Armijo actually got invited to Open at their home review O_O. That'd be a pretty nasty battle for FSUSD. Really interesting though, if you catch my drift; they were the district that swept NCBA last year. If they all compete in Open, I wonder how long their ties will hold.

See, the strangest thing is that I heard from a lot of people that there was some fuzz at their show...a tear during a tenor lick. I don't know how severe it was, seeing as there aren't any videos up on YouTube...but that's kinda trippy. They TORE and got invited to Open? That just doesn't add up. Judges must be on something crazy, or they see something interesting. I don't know how well their line will hold up against such behemoths like FF and Bethel...they're really little. Better be bringing the HEAT. Although that's DEFINITELY something I've come to expect from them.

I heard good things about Bethel and FF. Also about Rod. Still nothing I'd be willing to judge by word of mouth. Although I'm glad to have heard that Bethel changed their clappy clappy routine to hand drums. Gotta see it to like it, though. I hear that FF's show is freaking scary. "OOGABOOGA" HAHAHAHHAHA. (off topic, but what's up with that, Vallejo MS?) This Saturday should be an interesting show. I'll definitely not miss this for half my paycheck (debatable...lol).

Y'all should look for these schools in the lot: FF, Bethel, AHS. Only if you're looking for top-dog players, that is ;) Oh...and if you drummers are like the rest of us and don't really fancy guard shows, Vallejo High presents a rather startling and pleasing eye-catcher of a show. Just putting that out there. It's a break from the norm.

Yup. I saw them at McClatchy and EG. I like there show but it just does not seem as complex in music and GE as the rest of the Open class this year.
