About half of the Blue Stars guard members came from SoCal this season, and many of them read this forum. Congratulations to them on an amazing season, and welcome home!!!

You know as just a quick aside...back when my horizons were limited due to immaturity and being so much "in the box". I used to get irritated when I would hear of southern Californians marching in other corps outside of California. It made no sense to me "back then" (when I was in corps). It was one thing to take a bus once a weekend from Cal State Northridge to the enemy's---uh, I mean, to the Freelancer's camps, but it was another thing to hear of people going to march Garfield and Cavaliers and Star. Bugged the crap out of me. Sort of territorial I was back then....

Anyway--yes, I agree with Corkie! BIG THUMBS UP to that great guard and corps. VERY nice show.

If Ryan is ok with people going where they want, then I'll say I am now proud to be a member of the FREELANCER ALUMNI CORPS! as Well as a member of the KINGSMEN ALUMNI CORPS.

Drum Corps is good at any age!
