You know as just a quick aside...back when my horizons were limited due to immaturity and being so much "in the box". I used to get irritated when I would hear of southern Californians marching in other corps outside of California. It made no sense to me "back then" (when I was in corps). It was one thing to take a bus once a weekend from Cal State Northridge to the enemy's---uh, I mean, to the Freelancer's camps, but it was another thing to hear of people going to march Garfield and Cavaliers and Star. Bugged the crap out of me. Sort of territorial I was back then....corkie wrote:About half of the Blue Stars guard members came from SoCal this season, and many of them read this forum.
