Re: BLL 6 is next week
I think I might be missing this year due to prior obligations.

Re: BLL 6 is next week
I will be dragging some of my guard students to the showing in Natomas!

I am NOT too old for this!

Plan your liquid diets accordingly.
The running time is 5 HOURS & 15 MINUTES.

At least according to the QF schedule, there's some time to stretch & relieve.

Had about 30-40 I think in Mountain View. I imagine Cupertino may have had quite a few with SCV & maybe BD folk.
Looks like the acoustics at the Oil are the biggest issue. Of the "99 billion" venues that DCI shows are featured, 3 of them are indoors. It's too bad that one of those 3 is the last venue of the season where all the marbles count.

Re: BLL 6 is next week
Bella Terra in Huntington Beach had a good turn out this year but the sound system was horrible.
Talked with 2 different managers and they said they would look into it. Nothing ever happened. Only the front channels worked and when ever there was a big crescendo or chord, the sound actually backed off and sounded muffled.
Very disappointed. Last year it was awesome, this year they really screwed it up.

Fabulous sound in Ventura and the break was a good time for us old guys to go get a hot dog and soda. (Thought I was going to pop by BD time though)
