2011-2012 FBS Bowls Pool Game

I thought we’d give this a try this year. I never got the chance to put a game together last year in time. At least this time I’m a little ahead of things!

After the Game Open Announcement is posted, please post your picks indicating the Deadline group you are posting under, and please also list the game#. This will make it a lot easier on me to enter picks, especially with so many games to enter.

SCORING:
I’ll be using the same scoring format as in the NFL pool, where at the end you get a score based on the percentage of points you earned versus the total available points to earn.

Each correctly picked game will be worth 40 points, with the exception of the following:
Rose Bowl, Sugar Bowl, Orange Bowl, and Fiesta Bowl are worth 50 points if picked correctly. The BCS Championship game is worth 75 points if picked correctly.

Bonus Questions are scored as follows:
Point Spread guesses are worth 15 points maximum, minus the variance of your guess from the actual point spread of each game.
Final Total Points are worth 25 points maximum, minus the variance of your guess from the actual points scored in each game.

Deadline Clarification
For each deadline, you have up until Midnight Pacific time to get your picks in on that given day.

For your convenience, I’ll list the dates of each game in the listing, but remember the deadline for each game is the deadline for the group of games posted, not the date the game is played.

SDSU did their usual fall behind early stunt, but my god the refs did absolutely everything they could to give the game to Louisiana in the 4th Quarter. What a bunch of bogus crap.
