How does ur Band Council get along???

Our band leaders have had some fights. but the good part about it is that we alwas get out of them and get over the faults and problems quickly. The only big problem we have though is keeping it profession sometimes. sometimes at the end of rehearsals we tend to get...ya know, less focused. But its only for like 10 minutes. Then we get yelled at. then its back to normal again. And then sometimes we're like that at the beginning of practice, and then serious after the first 10 minutes. yeah, we're odd like that. We're better about it now though.

our council (DM,Pres,VP,Secretary,Section leaders) meet every friday @ lunch. we help each other in problems each section might have as well as give feedback to our directors and set goals for the next week.

our band council is voted in by the students, ( another way is having a direct position of authority). Basically its sitting, talking, planing end of year party for the band council.

Our Band Council is great. There's five of us and it's just awesome. We're always on the same page, we get along great, and our solo meetings (when it just consists of us) has a joke in between every concern
but we get the job done. And I made history being one of the first office members to be from drumline (in our band anyway)in a long time... woo... but as if that matters.

our council memeber get along great the only arguing we have is who gets to "motion" and "second" the paying of someone ect.

hmmmm................well depends on who you ask really. I guess were doing alright most of the times. Yea, there's always going to be "drama" one way or another, but it's not like someone's plotting to ruin someone else's life (at least none that I know of).

Our Band council is pretty awesome, no one argues with each other, and the topics get resolved in an orderly manner. Our president gives us a report on what's going on, and if it's a decision that needs to be made, someone else passes a motion, and then its either an ay or nay (sp) from the rest of the council. One by one, people can talk about their opinions, its kinda nice. it's very well organized. we meet like 3 times a month.
