West Covina performed in ex, but had no score on the sheets. I thought they were going to get a score only... who knows, they play again tonight. We'll see. If anyone knows what they received please share.

West Covina had an Overall Band score of 76.70, Colorguard score of 90.5, and Percussion score of 87.0.
The head judge just communicated that the recap is being mailed over.

It's getting old, Dave...
How about, I'll get it posted AFTER I take my band to the away football game tonight, host a field tournament tomorrow, then attend/judge a field tournament on Saturday.
It will be up with all of the other ones from this weekend when I have TIME to get it done.
As much as I love serving the SCSBOA and the WOP with posting recaps, etc...Westlake comes first.

This is the third time I have seen you give Mike crap Dave. Maybe you nees to piss off and go.polish a tuba or something. Im sure the incredible salary he gets working his ass off for SCSBOA should motivate him to move faster.....but in the mean time you're coming off petty.

I understand that you're busy Mike. I included a "wink" in my posting because I was just razzing you a little. But if you're too busy, don't go to the trouble to make a posting here saying that the recaps will be published "soon"... better to say nothing at all. That way we have no expectations. But since I am now preceived as being an jerk for trying to keep our scores archive up to date, I guess its time for me to take a break too. I've spent way too much time collecting and retyping scores. So, as of today, I will be discontinuing the WoP Scores Archive. 14 years is long enough anyway...

Trust me I know the feeling. Before the start of this season, I strongly felt that it was time to get out of doing this. I foiund it very frustrating that what one did as a favor became the grist meal for those who wanted instant gratification. I understand how you feel and hope you will not be burned out. I decided here in TX if you want to send the complete results in, please do it, do not bother me with snippets about who won what class, but no other information. Since none of us get paid for this job, lets look at that we will try and do the best we can. I think that the Web Page along with TEXAS Yellow Board should not publish threads from idiots who say "Scores, I Need Scores". If you want the scores so badly go to the competition. Dave, fortunately their is a very short time left in the season. Take a break for a few days and I think you will feel better. By the way, that it why I choose not to post the competitions on the events calender due to burnout and the difficulty getting the correct Information. Guess what we can live without the events. Let this cool down and enjoy this Veterans Day. In the great scheme of things we celebrate the sacrifices today of millions of Americans who served this nation. As the late John McKay of USC once said, "In the great scheme of things 1 Billion Chinese could not give a damm about who won a game"

SO glad I could cause this much drama...seriously.
My only point was that I have a tremendous amount of work on my plate, and, let's face it...if I don't mention that they will be going up soon, then we get the "why, oh WHY isn't the recap posted???" posts.
I honestly DO enjoy being able to inform the masses, and I am not looking for any kind of recognition or kudos or anything like that. I think Dave does a wonderful job with what HE does, and it involves more than the one organization I help out.
And Dave...honestly...you're really going to stop all of the great work you do because I have an issue with what you said to me? I am not worth the trouble. Seriously.
This is me apologizing for being ultra-sensitive. I am way too thin-skinned, and I need to grow up and not take everything so personally.
This could have been done in a PM, but this needs to be seen. Let's stop making this about the two of us and continue to do hat we do best. For Dave, that's running this great site and keeping the masses happy. For me...it's a whole lotta bear-poking.
We all good?
