So, I have decided to start an independent guard in SF, just for fun.... not planning to get into any circuits, but perform in Parades like Pride, or even at events like LoveEvolution or any darn place where we can spin and captivate an audience.Yes we have a portable PA system in wheels
Surprisingly a lot of people in San Francisco have never seen a flag, rifle, or saber tossed to the rhythm of a beautiful tune.Currently it is 4 of us starting this fun group, we will probably have weekly rehearsals at San Francisco state or at nearby parks, and spin for fun or come up with small fun routines, or intense ones if you wish. However, I have only one flag pole and one silk. I would like to know if any nearby schools in the bay area or anyone that is willing to donate any pole or silk, size style does not matter. We are just broke college students unable to pay for poles, silks, plus shipping. So what better way to ask our local community for a silk or pole donation (if you have one) or even sell them for a cheap price, I will pick it/them up!. We will be a fun group for sure
