It all depends on whether or not I make SCV really. But, if I don't, than count me in.

I would join a corps and perform...but I'm a woodwind.

I would join a corps and perform...but I'm a woodwind.

Still very possible (wish I knew back in my heyday).

Mike Moxley, former corps director of the Blue Devils, started out as a clarinet player and was taught by Gail Royer (founding director of SCV), giving him the chance to march.

That is one of many stories where people weren't always brass or percussion players.

If you have the desire and willingness to do it, go for it.

Wow. That trip would be a great idea.

I would so join a drum corp, if I could play a brass instrument. Is it tough to switch and learn a new instrument?

I started out on flute and made the switch to tuba my sophmore year of HS. Took me about 8 months of playing before I was proficient enough for corps. Still play both instruments to this day...

Anyway, getting back to things.

Is there anyone even remotely interested?

I think it would be really cool. I'd do it if it weren't too expensive.

We are trying to make it so that it is as cheap as possible.
I'm gonna look around for deals and stuff.

As it stands, we'll probably all just fly down there because its a hell of a drive. We're aiming for the bonding thing as well.
