Calling Drum Majors Past & Present!

Post by Peacocks Drum Major Comps » Fri Jan 08, 2021 2:39 pm

Peacocks American Drum Major Competitions is gearing up to launch it's next competitive season (virtually) in 2021. This long standing tradition dates back several decades and we were hoping to hear of some experiences from previous drum majors over the years. If you have ever competed in Peacocks American Drum Major Competitions, founded by Tom Peacock, please let us know and share some stories! With your permission, we would like to share your stories and/or pictures with our current participants and allow us all to see the lineage of the community. Feel free to comment here or to reach out to our Director of Competitions, Esteban De Leon, at Esteban@americandrummajor.com. Can't wait to see all the drum majors out there!

Thank you!

Just found this form, interesting reading. I was Drum Major For Artesia HS 1956/57 attended College of Baton at Pepperdine College. Helped set up Drum Major camp at University Redlands with Bob Roberts. Worked with Rod White, Diane Cornwall on several events and the SCBOA at the Long Beach Band Review, etc. worked with Bob Roberts selling Band Uniforms & music equipment until Uncle Sam called in 1962.
Have a great year and keep up the great work
