Hmmm...finally found hardware to convert some of those VHS tapes I have.

1992 Fred C. Beyer High School Patriot Marching Band & Colorguard
1992 Etiwanda High School Marching Eagle Regiment

I have some stuff that dates back to 1985, but I'll pick & choose depending on quality.BDguardsman wrote:Thanks! These are great! Keep them coming. What years do you have?

That was great. I am not a field show enthusiast but I do appreciate what you are doing to document SoCal field show history. Looking forward to future uploads to youtube

Not using YouTube because they have a size limit now. This other site I'm using has a little more flexibility.

Re: Some historic videos
Wow, I marched with Merced from 1985-1989...I marched RCC in 1996. It is almost impossible to find field shows from that era. Logan, Clovis West, Clovis, Beyer, Oak Grove, and Live Oak were pretty innovative for the time.Wildabeast wrote:I have some stuff that dates back to 1985, but I'll pick & choose depending on quality.BDguardsman wrote:Thanks! I really appreciate you sharing the videos!
Re: Some historic videos
Well, since we are throwing our "wish lists" out there...how about something from the late 70's for us old-timers...anyone? Especially Northern California NCBA...Live Oak, Foothill, Merced, Fairfield, Armijo, Clayton Valley, Ukiah, Concord, Dos Palos, Chowchilla, etc...
That would be sweet.
Cali.

How about Golden Valley H.S. Cardinal Regime when they were a field show band from 1994 to 1997
Re: Some historic videos
I don't mean to add to the list of requests, but do you have any of Rowland High School from 1995-2001?
Much apreciated

I got the Elgato Video Capture for about $100.00. You're VCR doesn't even have to be hooked up to your TV to use it (I hook it up to my MacBook Pro). The accompanying software is very simple to use.
Perhaps there are those in the shadows who have more historical videos they can share now.

I had no idea that they did field shows during that time. Was Greg Christiansen with them those years?baritoneplayer wrote:How about Golden Valley H.S. Cardinal Regime when they were a field show band from 1994 to 1997
