Somehow your above statement was attributed to me... but, I will agree the B&B by Mt. C in 1981 was very good.

Mr.Vore, I love your Magnolia Band. While I DO take a polar opposite stance to your general point of view, I can't deny that you are a band review legend. The band community needs you. I'm intrigued with everything you say. BTW,
your 91 Magnolia show at Mt.Carmel Tourney before Poway HS was amazing. "The Rocketeer" still brings a couple of tears to my eyes. Incidentally, I ADORE your 81 "Conqueror."

One more thing: You tend to get on my nerves very easily but you know what? It's an HONOR to have you respond to my inane ramblings. God bless you Mr.Hausey.

Wow....what a blast from the past! We were at that Bakersfield show....Chino HS...I remember that stadium. Cold, Huge, and weird. All these schools we had never heard of....Arvin, Wasco, Shafter, etc. I remember we didn't do that well but it was surely an interesting day! Do you remember it Mr. Stratton?

Amen! Now THAT's a good band. I feel like over the course of history, especially some of those 80's All Western Band Review Youtube videos Arcadia was cheated out of a lot of sweepstakes. I think they definitely had the showmanship over Mt. Carmel and definitely the music over Magnolia but somehow I don't see how they didn't beat these bands? Who knows.....

No one answered an earlier post asking if there was footage of All Western in the 70's. Does that mean there isn't any? I would like to see late 60's and early 70's when I marched All Western.

dang, who's that dude at 2:49?
...lol...pretty funny. Notice how the others didn't have tripods either!
That means I should have a copy of this video too. Or probably lost the tape...

Going back to this, I love the way Arcadia played Revelation and the fact that they were the first band to do so. Not to take away from their awesome performance, but personally for me, when I think of this march, the band that comes to mind is Bonita Vista's performances at the
2004 Arcadia Band Review and the
2005 Sherman Oaks Band Review, especially Amy Mack's exceptional Auxiliary
