Flower Mound HS, an undefeated Season

On Wednesday Nov 9th, Flower Mound HS of Flower Mound , TX completed an undefeated Marching Season by winning the UIL Class AAAAAA State Marching Championship at the Alamo Dome in San Antonio, TX. Flower Mound won the God Medal, with Hebron winning the Silver Medal and Flower Mounds Sister school, Marcus won the Bronze Medal. Marcus was the 2014 State Marching Champion.This win ended a marching contest season in which they were undefeated in UIL& BOA contest along with winning an Independent Panel Judges event hosted by LD Bell. There record for this season is outstanding but above all, their winning top awards for Music in each event was amazing. The undefeated record is as follows.

1st in Finals
Music Caption Awards in Both Prelims and Finals
GE and Visual Awards in Finals.
Defeated 16 Other Bands

Oct 8th BOA Denton Regional
1st in Class AAAA Prelims

Music and Visual Caption Winners in Prelims
Winner of All Caption Awards in Finals

Oct 22nd
1st Division Rating UIL Region 2 Marching Contest
Advances to Area Contest

Oct 29th UIL Area C Marching Contest
Prelims Tied with Hebron for Top Spot.
Two of three judges in Music gave them 1st Position.
Finals 1st place and Area Championship
Five Judges gave Band 1, 1, & 2 in Music 1 &2 In Marching
