Added Shows to NCBA Circuit
The NCBA has expanded and has added additional shows:
March 6: Fairfield will be doing a double show in conjunction with Rodriguez HS
March 13: A double show has been added at McQueen HS and Reed HS in Reno, Nevada. These 2 shows will use the same judging panel (morning/evening shows).
I believe there has been one or 2 more shows added in February, I will check and get back to you. These events have not yet been added to the NCBA website.
NCBA finals are proposed at this time to be at Las Plumas/Oroville HS's in Oroville.

At first I heard that it was possibly going to be in San Benito again, but didn't like that idea because it was far, thus expensive. But Oroville isn't much closer ... it's by what? 15 minutes? Yeah, according to YahooNCBA finals are proposed at this time to be at Las Plumas/Oroville HS's in Oroville

April 3: NCBA Finals @ Las Plumas/Oroville (Tentative)
NCBA Championships are awarded to schools that:
1. Ask to have championships
2. Have proven booster organizations that can host such a large event
3. Have 2 full size gyms (1st choice) OR
4. Have 2 full size gyms on 2 sites (2nd choice)
5. Have good warmup facilites available.
6. We prefer to award finals to schools that have competative groups on our circuit, but the original intent of the NCBA was to have finals at a neutral site-however this has not proved feasible in most cases.
New NCBA rules would probably prohibit a school LIKE Tokay to host finals now because they do not have 2 full size gyms (thus meaning we start finals at 7 in the morning and finish at 11 at night..which is a good way to kill judges..and no longer permitted under NCBA rules..) There were a good deal less groups at finals in 2000 than in the past couple years. There were also NO warmup facilites at Tokay. But they do have a nice gym.
