Painting the winterguard mat

Post by RifleLova » Tue Dec 09, 2003 7:27 pm

Is it just me or does anyone else hate painting the mat for winterguard? We usually have to redo it all the time because for some reason the paint either peals off of bleeds. I just hate it because it takes more than 8 hours! And you work so hard taking off last years paint then you paint then you have to wait until it drys...it's like the most boring time of my life! AND it takes up your winterbreak doing all this...ugh!

Wow ... I've never painted a floor. I have, however, cleaned floors. Peeling off all that tape (because there was shapes/forms taped on it) and scrubbing is back-breaking work! Yikes. Then you get light headed from the cleaning fumes. Bleh.

I've never actually painted a whole floor, just painted flowers on one. It sounds horrible though. Doesn't the paint peel off really fast?

i wish ours was that fun...we all dread "floor cleaning/painting day" at my guard.
