Maybe Granite Bay can take it at the championships? I didn't attend this competition, but Granite Bay must not have gotten docked for time like they did at the other competitions...at least that's what I've been told. They have a great show, like the other bands, so I want them to do well. Getting marked down for time is a sad way to lose points because it's preventable. It seems like they are getting their act together a bit in terms of time.

Granite Bay did not receive a penalty but did not play as well as we could have and earned a lower score that we did deserve. Clean beats are important. We are looking at ways to not go over the allotted time. We had 1 second to spare at Del Oro. Whew!
