YouTube of a Japanese High School Concert Band

This video is just plain scary! What do they feed these kids? Danse Folatre by Claude T. Smith.

J.W. Pepper's Product Description

A major virtuoso effort commissioned by the U.S. Air Force Band to display the exceptional capabilities of each section of the band. Opening with an allegro to keep the attention of everyone, it moves through baritone, clarinet, oboe, alto sax solos and a delightful flute cadenza before entering the powerful lyric section again featuring solo work. The vivace finale is as thrilling as any ending you've ever conducted. A truly exceptional and demanding work designed only for the most experienced and mature bands.

Thank you for reminding me (and one other) that young ADULTS (24 years ago I was reminded "they (students) are young adults." Today - "they're just kids") can accomplish amazing things!! This video reminds of the SLAVA video by elementary school students!! AWESOME!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mAfy5e6uXs8

You may have even shared this video, as well.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!
